52 on Fridays (6/52) Love

Homeschooling has unintended consequences. Sure, there are the obvious things like my kids no longer have the experience with societal norms that would let them know that wearing a cape to Target when you are 10 is not cool. And there are odd things like my 8 year old reading "playdate" as "placate" on the family calendar and asking why I would need to remind myself to placate someone. But one beautiful consequence of being together so much is that my middle two children have had the time to discovered that they really are best friends, and I love that surprising consequence so much.

Tiffany you totally rock the concept of love for this week's theme. I really like your picture. The story that it tells. The love that it transmit. The calmness. sun going down and they just laying there. holding hands. on a little blanket. LOVE IT SOOOOO MUCH!!! the perspective is sweeeeeeet!

This is so sweet, a must on their bedroom wall. Hey, you'll have something to show them next time they have a sisterly fight. We all know those are just as passionate as our bond!

Sarah Jo, my goal was to get something on their wall! We want to try one of those inexpensive DIY tutorials on Pinterest using architectural prints from Kinkos. I'll post if it works.

I always love when I see people holding hands. My heart smiles big...something about it says "I"ll be there for you". This photos says it to me! I love the tones of it, the feeling, the simpleness, even the bokeh color matches the blanket. I agree this should go on the wall, you'll have to let us know how your diy goes.
