Summer is wonderful for so many reasons, but one of the best reasons to love the season is that it gives us time to visit old friends. I met my friends Tricia and Kim on a Gymboree message board 8 years ago. We each had a pretty new baby to dress so we had a starting point for conversation. Within a year of first talking online, we met up and found that we had a lot more in common than clothes. Our girls became great friends, too, despite the distance between us. They may even look forward to our summer meetings more than we do!

These are so great. I love photos that capture moving water, and the girls' expressions are fantastic in those. I really like the post processing of both sets, and their outfits are too sweet.
Love this set and such a cool way to make new friends! I think it would be so fun if our group could all meet up too!
I always love the "back" pictures....this is such a great story. Amazing how some friendships are made! And thanks for trying to send something "cool" my way..however today was a record high 108!!
